SKDA Iron-On Jersey Numbers
Wash and dry your jerseys before applying your iron-on jersey numbers, even if they’re new, to prevent ink bleeding that can damage prints.
To apply:
1. Lay the jersey flat, using cardboard inside to maintain shape.
2. Slowly peel off the reverse translucent layer from the jersey print while keeping it on the clear transfer layer.
3. Position the print on the jersey—the clear transfer layer will hold it temporarily for adjustments.
4. Heat the print with an iron or heat press at 265-302°F (130-150°C) for 20 seconds with medium pressure.
5. While warm, gently peel off the clear transfer layer. If the print isn’t stuck, reapply and heat again.
6. Cover the print with baking paper and heat for another 10-15 seconds to secure it.
If prints lift or peel, cover with baking paper and reheat. Do the same for crinkling. Do not dry clean. Instead, machine wash cold or warm inside out with mild detergent and hang to dry. Avoid tumble drying.
